Sushi-Ya was conceptualized in May 1996 by a group of Japanese food lovers who wanted to bring Japanese cuisine to a broader market. Sushi-Ya, which means sushi store in japanese, however, offers more than just you usual Sushi. A mid-price Japanese restaurant without the fuss and the frills, Sushi-Ya ‘s ambiance is light and casual. The interiors boasts of simple Zen traditional setting that is less formal and unintimidating with modern Japanese music playing unobtrusively. Dining is an intimate affair.
Sushi-Ya, from the name itself, offer delectable food items in their menu. They can offer their best sushi, maki and sashimi. “Donburi” or japanese rice toppings which are very popular in the restaurant are also available, ranging from “Gyudon”, “Chirashidon”, “Sukiyakidon” and “Katsudon”. Aside from that, Sushi-Ya is also popular for their appetizing bento-boxes which includes everything from Japanese veggies to meat. The restaurant also offer their list of “Moriawase” or Sushi-Ya platters which another what-to-love in them.
