Sprouting from a Salesian Italian missionary’s desire to be able to serve delicious tasting dishes within canteen walls, Amici came about and started out as a humble cafeteria in Don Bosco. Amidst inexperienced but determined chefs, Amici’s selection of authentic Italian meals left both local and foreign palates in awe. Now, this restaurant enjoys a snowball of patrons hooked to its exquisite selection of pasta, pizza and gelato!
Amici is known for a lot of delicious dishes and one of them is its wood fire oven-cooked pizzas. Its Al Quattro Formaggi is the perfect fix for cheese lovers while the Tutta Carne boasts with a meaty blanket of Italian sausage, ham and pepperoni. Amici’s pastas have also received various praises like its Spaghetti White Vongole E Gamberetti with al dente spaghetti tossed in olive oil and sautéed mixed seafood. Bon Appetit!
Tuloy Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Salesian priest Fr. Rocky Evangelista. It is focused on giving street children hope for a better life. Their Mission: To be a Center of Excellence in the reintegration of street children into mainstream society through a comprehensive program of caring, healing and teaching. TULOY admits street children providing them with basic needs: food, clothing, shelter, basic education and vocational skills training; but most important, values and spiritual formation. It has, since its foundation in 1993, already affected the lives of over 10,000 street children currently serving as many as 600 children.
Kicking in follow through support to Tuloy Foundation, AFVI recently partnered once again with Tuloy to help give street children that chance to succeed. By selecting any of the special offerings in the Amici di Tuloy Menu, P10 will go directly to Tuloy Foundation Inc. to help fund the needs of a street child.
